Merdeka Eve
I went for some shooting at Albert Park alone. It was gloomy so shooting was kinda hard.
Some street shooting before reaching Albert Park
For those who's thinking about asking me to take their wedding photos, I don't have the proper gears and I've never shoot one before. May be I can help as backup photographer la.
This picture is much more nicer in bigger size
The background kind of distracting......
I like this photo, it gives a calming & soothing feeling.
The day is getting gloomier by the minute
A birdy poo-ed on my Esprit jacket during one of the shots!
They were carrying the cone everywhere, haha :D
Trying Macro shot
Spring is coming
I need to lie on the grass to get this shot.
This shot I had to kneel down
Beautiful flower bud
Trying out other flowers
Hoped that you enjoyed the pictures. Honestly, some of them is considered so-so only. There are so many sifus online that will be glad to comment and guide. Usually their comments will come with poison, tempting you to buy better gears. There's no antidote, day and night you'll think about the wonderful lens...... Anyway, as usualy compliments, criticism & cash is very much welcomed.
After shooting, I went to have a nice roast duck with grilled pork rib rice. Met a fellow Malaysian who hails from Alor Setar. Reminded him that tomorrow (today) is National Day. He said he forgot about it since he's here for 21 years already. His ang moh friend uses chopsticks better than him.
Came back to edit the photos and asked a Malaysian student who I knew from LYN to hangout at my place. Bought 4 Hoegaarden and some tidbits from Foodtown and we chit chat till I'm tired. Its amazing that little amount of liquor can make you sleep well.
It's now 10:30am and he's still sleeping in the other room. Will bake a pizza (frozen food lah) for lunch. May be I'll visit Victory Park today.....

Pearly Harbour Karaoke
My office organized a K session spontaneously and asked everyone to join. I kept telling them that I can't sing.
I told them that I don't know how to sing with proper pitching. When I try to sing higher pitch, what I'll do is sing louder, wakakkakaka. Yeah girls, sorry for bursting this bubble. This *ahem* leng *cough* chai *cough* cannot sing to melt your heart.
Usually what I do in the K room is clapping la, drinking la and eating. I tell you guys, the chinese fellers damn keng in singing. Guys and girls alike. There was an awkward moment, they picked Chinese National Anthem.......... Oh well, at least I can learn the lyrics of the anthem.
Surprisingly they picked many songs from Malaysian singers, seems like our boys and girls made it quite big ei. K brings back many memories. At some point of the night, I felt like tears is filling up the rim of my eyes...... Gulp down the beer and trying to act hyper and crazy managed to cover I guess.
The room was nice, food was so so. I stayed until 8:45pm only because I had a meeting at 9:00pm. Many of you would think that what kind of company is this?!?!?!??! Well, I'm in GMT+4:00 (NZ) and my boss is in GMT+9:00 (ID), while most of the colleagues is in GMT+8:00pm (MY & SG).

Recipe
Porridge with Egg
1. Soak the rice for 3-4 hours. (can be skipped if you don't like Hong Kong style)
2. Pour away the water.
3. Put loads of water into the pot and the soaked rice.
4. Flame on, maximum.
5. Add in some oil and salt.
6. Cook until the texture (don't know what word to use) you like.
7. Crack the egg into the bowl and slowly pour into the pot while stirring.
8. Off stove.
Steam Drumstick With Chinese Tofu/Cheese
1. Clean and cut the drumstick.
2. Mixed chinese tofu/cheese, pepper, saseme oil, minced ginger and soy sauce in a bowl. **Don't add water**
3. Add chicken and stir evenly.
4. Marinate for at least 1 day.
5. Fast forward 1 day. Take out from fridge, straight to the steamer for 15mins.
6. Garnish with spring onion (which I don't have) and serve.
Fried Fish with Fermented Beans
1. Open the canned fish. Pour the oil into the pan.
2. Add some onion (optional, trying to include more vege)
3. Fry the onion and add in the fish later.
4. Fry until the fish is hot and serve.
Vege
1. Fry some finely diced garlic.
2. Add vege and a pinch of salt.
3. Serve lor what else.
End result?
I also had pickled lettuce together with it
The chicken was fantastic, added more cooking wine to bring out the flavor.
The fish was so so as it was kind of tough, onion was sweet.
Porridge? Amazing! The gravy from the chicken goes so well with the porridge.
Pickled lettuce is always my favorite with porridge, very refreshing.
As you can see, I'm very much a Jamie Oliver. Cooking is about making your own palate happy. How much seasoning to put is up to you. If you are not sure, go slow. Enjoy cooking~~~!!!

Fry, Steam, Poach, Simmer, Deep Fry, Bake.....
I love to cook. Cooking in Australia and New Zealand makes more sense because the ingredients are fresh and it's so cheap to cook. The kitchen I have here is fantastic. There's electric stove, oven, microwave, bread toaster, fridge, freezer, blender and the best is dish washer :)
What I hate about cooking is washing the dishes. So, I put everything into the dish washer including knifes, pots and pans. Now, when are they going to invent liquor making machine.....

20082008 -> 23082008
I went to an adult expo today, the entrance cost NZD25/pax. Too bad no photos allowed so I can't share with you guys some pictures of it. Surprisingly, the visitor's gender ratio is about 60:40.
What's inside you say? Shows, seminars, games, pornography and loads and loads of sex toys. As we know, most of toys as meant for ladies. As everyone there paid for the entrance, I guess they are more liberal, expressive or curious in sexuality. It comes to no surprise that the ladies was splurging for dildos and such.
There are some toys for guys but I guess guy's ego acting up. Many would think that if you buy a toy, you're a loser. So you would see most of the guys flipping through porn.
Listened to a talk by a male pornstar telling the crowd how his job is not the perfect job. After that, another talk on anal sex toys and left half way through.
There was no live nudity though, all boobies that you see there is either on screen or printed. The way this event was advertised was different though. The day was 20.08.2008
First, there was a protest
Then there was this
2 tanks on Queensteet
Vroom vroom.......
Big means it'll sag faster
It was damn cold weather, pity the girls.....
Something just for fun
Hey, he even have the courtesy to shave
More of them~~~
Colorful hair piece
Nice hair, even nicer than some girls
Auntie says "I'm not for show"
Perky ones are good
This is how it'll look like 40 years down the road
Pretty girl with perky ones
Clever one chose to drove rather than going on a bike
The crowd having an eye full
Everyone has their eyes on the girls
She was so nice to pose for me
Compare the clothes of the people and the girls
Everyone's having a good time
I didn't enjoy the whole event properly. The parade was so fast and I've viewed it through the small view finder of my Alpha. I tested out the ability of my lens and the results as below.

Scene 1, Beach Road **56K warning!**
My room
The room from another angle
The living room
The kitchen
Private moments
Some books if you fancy
Chop, slice and dice
The fridge and freezer is in the cupboards
The hall with my room and bathroom
Waiting for someone who's willing to stay with me
Very long balcony
Told you it's long
The view to the right
The view to the left
It's cheap and healthy to cook
This is where the magic happens, I prefer fire though
Pasta is served
