Came back to Malaysia few days before Chinese New Year. At first I was happy stuffing my face with lots of food, eventually the list of food cravings was satisfied and nasi lemak (and such) seems to have lost its magic. Thank goodness there's still mom cooked dinner to look forward to everyday.
Many friends assumed that I'll be on leave whenever I come back, the reality is I would go to KLCC/Etiqa office to work everyday. Even during Chinese New Year, I would have to go through my emails in the evenings because there's no holiday in Australia.
The drive to work is really taxing. Usually it'll take me 1 to 1.5 hours to get to office everyday. That's 2 to 3 hours wasted on the road. In Sydney, I would spend the time sleeping or preparing dinner.
After this when I come back again, I would have to apply for leave and pay my own flight tickets. The next trip would be in September for my brother's wedding.
Going to AU to work permanently will be a turning point in my life, what holds for me in the future is unknown. Wish me all the best.
