Culprit found

Was working late yesterday and called up boss to discuss something.

After discussing about work, boss said that increment will come in this month or next month. Increment was suppose to be around June and it's now September. Bonus was supposed to be April and delayed to June as well. 

The funny thing about this company is no one actually complains. Even when part of the salary comes in late one month, everyone will just say "owh well". I guess its 2 things, everyone knows that company is not doing as well and our next meal doesn't depends on the timely arrival of our salary but I digress......

Before I continue, I'm reporting to a new boss now after I've been promoted. This new boss is a genuine, hardworking, kind, list goes on...... boss.

During the conversation, he mentioned, "actually HQ's big boss called me up to have you transfer to US again. So I said, as long we get "Pedang" (nickname for my previous boss) out of the way, you are all set to go."

I told him, its nice to know but I won't be considering it like before until it really is happening. He agrees and life goes on. Now I know what happened last time around, another classic case of boss don't want to let go.

This is our life in this company. You work hard day in day out be it whatever your reason is. If you do well, opportunities come and go fast. The thought of settling down in Sydney just set in and I was looking where to rent a place and what car to buy, etc. Back to square minus one again.

Enough of these boring bits, what car to buy? I was thinking Audi A4, I love those damn LED lights and tail lights. It still cost AUD50K here :(

Next up, Honda Civic. Hmm.... may be I'll just get one of those. What say you?
