Malaysia International Fireworks Competition

Last Wednesday 6pm on the dot I left office. Rushed downstairs to squeeze myself into the LRT heading for KL Sentral. At KL Sentral, switch to KTM. At the platform, there were so so so many people. Through the announcement, I got to know that that for the past hour, there was no train. Didn't manage to get into the first train, after 10mins the second one came. At 7.20pm, finally I arrived at Shah Alam.

Gf was there waiting for me. We set of to Putrajaya straight away. She was crazy enough to follow my suggestion where she bought McDeluxe and Zinger Max so that we can compare both. Conclusion - Zinger Max has better texture but a bit salty.

I don't think I've been to Putrajaya at night, its so beautiful. Honestly. Amazing. Really.

There were many cars there already. I think we've parked 1km away from the bridge. Long story short, enjoy~~~

For those who's in town, there will be more on 30th, 31th, 1st & 2nd Sept.

Update on my job, currently handling TM's project, so Auckland has been delayed (hopefully not canceled). Taiwan and India needs people, hopefully my boss will send me to Taiwan rather than India.

Job Security

So many times people ask me to refer them for interview. I always tell them to visit the company's recruitment site or the company's respective job agency website to choose their desired job. This is because, I hope that they'll choose something they like and further more, as if I know what jobs in the company is currently being advertised.

I'm happy in my current company, so I wrote a long e-mail to persuade friends to hand-in resume. Guess what, only 1 person submitted his resume. What's with these people? To those who asked me to recommend beforehand, where's your resume?!?! Wasted my time to wrote the long e-mail.

Many people treasure job security too much. Get your value increased and get the hell out of the place, go to some where which they can afford to pay you more. Make more friends. This company isn't my final stop, will look for a new job when the time comes.

1 tips, to justify for change of job, demand for at least 30% increment. At least that worked for me.

Globalization

Had a small gathering with LS and KC. Treated them lunch at Secret Recipe. LS and KC's salary is damn high. Imagine KC is getting USD200/day compared to me which is USD40/day during business trip. LS's allowance it beyond his salary. The fact that they are earning this much is because their company's main income is not from the locals here. To the company, they are paying peanuts.

Conclusion, work for a company that has office here in Malaysia but the main business is overseas. We can't stop globalization but we can use it to our advantage.

About my workload, for the first time in my life, I sleep because I need sleep rather than its time to sleep. May be it's the 1.5hr traveling to work.

Wondering how does KC commutes to work.

I'm in Orange

Finally its here after 4-5 months agonizing wait.

A promo was on so I grabbed one. Took a 3 year loan so the installment is a tad high but at least I can save on the interest. Plan to install something fancy this weekend, depends whether I've time for it or not.

Will confirm my Auckland trip and update it here :)

How long do you need to blog

I wonder, when I tell everyone my schedule is very packed, some of them will reply that since you can blog, surely its not too bad.

Seriously, how long do you need to write a post? For my blog, its usually spontaneous so I don't have to script it (hence usually plagued by bad flow of story, ugly formating, spelling error and grammar error). I may offend many people here but my blog is for me to express myself, its the real me, not a fake one.

Total time for this post, less then 5 mins.

Beautiful Bandung

Yesterday, my senior asked me to go to a customer to present what is WiMAX, I asked her to do it once before I do it, so that I can learn but she said just go ahead.

At 9am, Endhi was waiting for us in the condo parking. Without breakfast 3 of us head to Bandung. When we reached Bandung, CT asked Endhi to send us to Malya Hotel. We had our lunch there. Its a very beautiful place, one night in the standard room is +-RM500.

Hotel Lobby

Limited rooms available

At the balcony, we had our lunch here

We had honey dew juice, strawberry juice and Aqua (bottled water)

Cordon Bleu

Lamb Chop

Malya Club Sandwich

Even before the trip I had diarrhea. I was feeling terrible after I finished my presentation. Due to the diarrhea, I didn't drink water whole day long. By the end of the day, I had a serious dehydration. When I visited the doc, the doc was shocked, I was having a 38.2 degrees fever. After giving the medicine, he asked me to drink more Pocari Sweat (isotonic drink). Not trusting the drink, I search for 100 Plus. Imagine this, a 1.5L 100 Plus is priced at RM13+. When I get back to KL, I'll drink 100 Plus until I vomit.

Ok, about the plans of me going to Auckland, it has been delay to accommodate my training. So I'll be in KL for 2 weeks and then only I'll heard to Auckland after that.
