Pearl of Orient

My flight got retimed not once but twice. First, they SMS me 10pm the night before telling me the flight will be delayed about 3hrs, then in the morning 7am, they sms me to tell me that the flight will be brought forward by 1hour. So much for no frill flights, they induce some trill to their customers.

While waiting for boarding, I came across this.

Seems like kids nowadays like to eat stuff coming out between Cinderella and Winnie’s leg.

Chendol with Mei and Lie Wei.

Next we visited Altera, they smuggled me into their office. The first thing that surprised me was everyone was required to take off their shoes. After visiting the cubicles, we played ping pong. Don’t ask!

That night, we had a farewell for Ping2 who was leaving for Sarawak at MFM, Queensbay Mall.

The next day we visited Bukit Bendera, Butterfly farm, Ah Kiet’s place and Daniel’s place.

The main purpose of me flying all the way to Penang was to attend Teresa’s wedding.

I knew her from The Maxis Way (Orientation). To the newly weds, Wish That You’ll Have Many Surprises and Blessed Moments.

The colleagues at I-Center Penang.

I’m in the midst of applying for transfer to I-Center Penang. In Subang Hi-Tech, the only female we get to see is the pregnant cat outside our gate and old aunties.

After the dinner, we went to bed.

How I wish I could go to bed with the pretty ladies.

Thanks to all the came out to meet up. Special thanks to people who fetched me around and sorry to Sharon and Jazz for not being able to meet up.

When you are bored.

1. Misplace your wallet.
2. Call up banks to cancel your cards.
3. Banks says no transaction made. There will be a RM50 charges for card replacement.
4. Tell the nice lady it's absurd and you want to cancel the card (Tone: angry).
5. The lady franticly tells you she'll kindly waive it for you.
6. Wait for your replacement card to arrive.
7. If you are still bored, repeat step 2-6 a few times.

Ok, the part that sucks big time is I found my wallet 10 minutes after step 6.

Work

I've been on training the whole week. David - the trainer from Ericsson has some special ties. Most of his ties have items on it giving it a 3D feel.

The first day, his tie had a zipper on it. Second day, his tie has a pc motif and a 3D mouse. Third day, the pattern was a bit abstract and he pinned something shinny on it. Forth day was just a normal tie clip. Unfortunately, on the fifth day, he had the same zipper tie on. Yesterday, he had a normal tie on, will update you guys in the comment what tie that he's wearing on thursday.

As I'm having training on the day, last week I spent most of my nights clearing my backlog. I'm having the same gripe when I was at Panasonic, WHY TURN OFF THE AIR-CON!
